Terms of Service

By browsing or buying, you agree to a short set of rules. We own the content on this site unless we explicitly attribute it; please don't copy or redistribute it for commercial use without asking. Prices, lead times, and availability are subject to change without notice; an order confirms the price at the moment you confirmed it. We may decline to fulfil an order if we suspect fraud, if stock has run out, or for any other reasonable cause; you'll be refunded in full. If something goes wrong on our end — a damaged shipment, an item that isn't as described — tell us and we'll repair, replace, or refund within a reasonable time. Statutory consumer-protection rights in your country apply alongside these terms and are not reduced by them. Any dispute we can't resolve directly will be heard under the law of our country of incorporation.

Company details: this site is operated by Grove Vault Zone, roasting since 2014, founded by Kenji Murakami, at 4-9-14 Nishishinjuku, Shinjuku City, Tokyo 160-0023, Japant your data or these terms can go to info@grovevaultzone.com.

Service scope and licensing

All guarding services are performed by licensed security officers under the Security Services Act. Our obligations are defined in the individual service agreement; these website terms govern use of the site and initial enquiries only.

Response times quoted on this site are averages for the Greater Tokyo area and are not a contractual guarantee for any specific site until confirmed in a service agreement.

Quotations and site surveys

Quotes for recurring guarding are prepared after a site survey and remain valid for 30 days. Event-security quotes are valid for 14 days due to seasonal staffing variation. A confirmed booking requires a signed agreement; email confirmation alone does not reserve guards.

Liability

Our liability for any incident is defined and capped in the individual service agreement and covered by our professional liability insurance. We accept no liability for losses at sites where a client has reduced the agreed guard coverage against our written recommendation.

Client obligations

Clients must disclose known site hazards, provide the access credentials agreed in the service plan, and inform us of changes to occupancy or alarm systems that affect guarding posts. Incidents arising from undisclosed hazards are excluded from our liability under the service agreement.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend service with immediate effect if guard safety is at risk or invoices are more than 60 days overdue, after written warning. Either party may terminate a recurring contract with one month's written notice; event bookings follow the cancellation schedule in the booking confirmation.

Severability

If any clause of these terms is found invalid, the remaining clauses remain in effect and the invalid clause is replaced with a valid provision closest to its intent.

Insurance and indemnity

We hold professional liability and workers' compensation coverage for all deployed staff. Certificates of insurance are provided with every service agreement. Clients indemnify us against claims arising from hazards they failed to disclose after written request during the site survey.

Use of this website

Content on this site — guides, checklists, and rate indications — is provided for general information and may be updated without notice. Reproducing our training materials or guides for commercial use requires written permission.

Subcontracting

We do not subcontract guarding duties to other security companies without the client's prior written consent. Where consent is given, the subcontractor operates under our supervision and the same licensing and insurance requirements.

Matters not covered by these terms are resolved through good-faith consultation between the parties, and by the individual service agreement where one exists.
